Located inside Regent Phu Quoc Resort that opened on Vietnam’s largest island in the south last April, Rice Market restaurant serves iconic Vietnamese dishes like beef noodle soup, rice paper rolls, along with Chinese dim sum, char siu fried pork rice and Beijing-style roasted duck.

The Vietage restaurant serving the train journey from Da Nang to Quy Nhon offers various dining experiences including foie gras with onion planted on Ly Son Island off Da Nang coast and freshly cracked black pepper from Phu Quoc or fresh Quy Nhon seafood salad with signature fish sauce.

“The Vietage train offers a serious gourmet experience, with the considerable added bonus of watching the bucolic Vietnamese countryside unravel before you,” Travel + Leisure said.

Launched by Anantara Hotels in 2020, the six-hour train ride carries no more than 12 passengers that runs through popular tourist hotspots in Da Nang, Hoi An, Quang Ngai and Quy Nhon.

Other newly-launched restaurants in Southeast Asia included on the list were Wakuda in Singapore, Charmgang Curry Shop in Thailand, Ambara in Malaysia and Ember in the Philippines.
